The Multimedia & 3D Animation Lab covers specialized educational needs and includes 16 PC workstations to support simultaneous use by 32 students (2 per PC) and 12 free sits for use with laptops. 8 computers are equipped with sound cards, microphones, midi-keyboard and headphones, as well as a pair of JBL MKII speakers, a Soundcraft Notepad console with microphone, Focusrite sound card, projection screen and projector.
The courses taught within the Laboratory concern:
- sound processing and mixing
- composition of electronic music
- image processing and low-fidelity video
- three-dimensional content processing
- animation
- 3D animation
The room is available everyday from 10.00 to 19.00 for students to use in the context of their work during non-class hours.
In the internal room Γ205-B, audiovisual equipment lending service is also available.
