"Cinema in Education: Theory and Creative Practices"

Τhe program is in the process of being certified by the National Authority of Higher Education.

The purpose of the Master's Degree is to provide systematic specialized knowledge in the basic branches of film and audiovisual studies, as they are combined with pedagogical science, both in the field of theoretical education and scientific research in cinema, digital arts and educational sciences, as well as in the field of creative expression, artistic practice, and applied specialization.

The duration of study in the Postgraduate Diploma leading to the award of a Postgraduate Diploma  is set at one (1) academic year without summer breaks. The time for preparing a thesis is included in the above period.

The language of instruction is Greek. The languages of writing the postgraduate thesis are Greek or English.

The postgraduate program of study includes eight (8) theoretical and practical courses, in addition to the thesis, divided into two semesters of study without summer vacation.

Basic teaching is conducted through the e-class platform and via the Webex video conferencing system, with modern distance learning, with electronic simulation of the classroom, two afternoons per week with two two-hour sessions per afternoon - four lessons in total per week. On the first weekend of the winter and spring semesters and the first weekend during the third month of the winter and spring semesters, in-person meetings are held on campus (Evripou Complex) and hands-on creative practices are conducted through the course of the same name (videography, editing, etc.).
