The Digital Film Studio supports the central educational needs of the program regarding the direction and production (filming and sound recording) of audiovisual content. It is in direct synergy with the Multimedia and 3D Animation Laboratoryand theEditing and Informatics Laboratory, as well as the Television Studio, which are concerned with the processing of recorded content and appropriately supports the production of high-fidelity audiovisual content for students' courses and thesis projects.
In the Digital Film Studio, students are trained in the practical dimension of cinematography, photography, lighting, sound recording and film production in general. The workshop includes:
- a 100 sq m. set: easily divided into two smaller 50 sq m. film sets that serve cinematography, lighting and photography lessons.
- a 80 sq m. green screen filming area (13X6) that serves digital filming and post-production for the use of green screen, special effects, etc.
- a space for storing basic equipment.
