DIGITAL INSTALLATIONS & VR LABORATORY (D200)

The Digital Environments, Installations and Virtual Reality Laboratory aims to support educational activities and courses related to the creation of immersive digital artistic creations, interactive audiovisual or multi-sensory installations and digitally processed visual works.

The Laboratory includes devices for presentation and interaction with virtual environments, specialized workstations for writing similar applications and laptops for the presentation and installation of these inside and outside the laboratory (in other educational spaces or in exhibition spaces), projection systems and projection screens for the presentation of audiovisual works.

Additionally, the Laboratory's equipment includes sensors and microcontrollers for the creation of digital environments and interactive installations and 3D scanning and printing devices (3D scanning & 3D printing) for the digital recording and production of original 3D content, in virtual or physical form.

Digital works are combined with the creation of audiovisual content and can be performed by the students in direct collaboration with the Digital Technologies and Multimedia Laboratory and the Digital Audiovisual Production Laboratory.

The Laboratory of Digital Environments, Installations and Virtual Reality has 20 workstations with electronic devices for the creation of digital systems with microcontrollers, sensors, etc.
