SYLLABUS
Mathematical visual art is flourishing today, more than any other era in the digital arts with numerous artists creating works both on flat canvases and 3D printed by digital printers, using shapes from classical Geometry such as the Platonic and Archimedean solids or modern geometric objects such as Möbius strips, differential manifolds, or fractals.
Acquainting the students with the mathematical tools of Infinite Calculus and Algebra will not only provide them with the necessary knowledge to understand the modern currents that run through the subject of their studies but will also inspire them creatively.
1. Mathematical Functions
2. Continuity and discontinuity of functions
3. Trigonometric Functions
4. Elements of Algebra
5. Matrix theory and its applications to digital models
6. Graphic Representations
7. Symmetry and other geometric properties of two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes
8. Wave Equations
9. Representations of geometric figures on the plane and in space as graphs of mathematical equations
