The Department of Digital Arts and Cinema of National and Kapodestrian University of Athens (NKUA) was established in 2019 and its mission is to cultivate outstanding artists and professionals within the context of Art and Technology and more specifically in the fields of interactive arts, animation and cinema in the digital age. The University is located in the island of Evia in the scenic Mount Dirfys, an hour away from Athens metropolitan area and it is part of University of Athens strategic decentralization planning

Job Description

With a challenging academic year ahead, the Department of Digital Arts and Cinema of National and Kapodestrian University of Athens (NKUA) invites applications for 4 vacant professor positions in the fields of:

1) Digital film direction and cinematography,

2) Digital audiovisual editing,

3) Digital interactive arts and art installation

and

4) Audio sound design and music production

Requirements: Greek language, PhD, Media Studies, Portfolio of recent moving image media production work highly considered.
