UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME

The Digital Arts and Cinema Department of National and Kapodestrian University of Athens (NKUA) was established in 2019 and it's mission is to cultivate outstanding artists and professionals within the context of Art and Technology and more specifically in the fields of digital interactive arts, animation and cinema.

NKUA Digital Arts and Cinema Department Undergraduate Program consists of two basic pillars: Digital Arts and Cinema. These two basic orientations intertwine and complement each other, therefore they co-exist within the course of study.

Digital Arts and Cinema undergraduate program takes at least four (4) years to complete encompassing eight (8) semesters and two hundred forty (240) educational credits (ECTS). The academic curriculum consists of twenty nine (29) Compulsory Courses and fourty eight (48)  Optional Courses. A Bachelors Thesis is required in the 8th and final semester of studies in order the undergraduate programme to be completed.

With endless opportunities of working in digital film/music/television/animation/art/programming and gaming industry, NKUA Digital Arts and Cinema undergraduate program provides students with skills in many areas and creates a natural breeding ground for important collaborations within arts offering several diferrent exciting options of professional and creative opportunities.
